Crucial mental health services have moved into Mablethorpe’s Campus for Future Living – a community hub which brings health, education and wellbeing together under one roof.
NHS Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust’s (LPFT) mental health and Talking Therapies teams are the latest tenants at the Stanley Avenue hub where they will work closely with partners to provide earlier support to the community.
Staff from the Trust’s Skegness Community Mental Health Team, Louth Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and Louth Talking Therapies will be based on site, offering more accessible, flexible services and supporting earlier intervention in a modern, multi-agency environment.
The Campus, which opened in June 2025, is a multi-purpose hub bringing together health, wellbeing, education and business support to improve opportunities in the Lincolnshire coastal community.
It offers training, advice services and flexible spaces for community use, learning and enterprise. It also serves as a centre for research and innovation, providing facilities for healthcare training, academic partnerships and real-world testing of new ideas.
With workspaces and community facilities, it supports economic growth while tackling health inequalities locally.
It is owned by East Lindsey District Council and run by Acis Group, following £8.6 million in funding from the Government’s Towns Fund.
Claire Woodward, Director of Community Investment at Acis, said: “We’re delighted to welcome NHS Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust to the Campus. They are a perfect fit and will further enhance the incredible range of health and wellbeing services that we currently offer.
“The vision was always for the Campus to be a vital community hub which brings services together to tackle some of the big health, wellbeing and employability challenges faced by this coastal community.
“It is just wonderful to see this vision taking shape and the campus thriving - just one year after we opened the doors.”
Eve Baird, Chief Operating Officer, LPFT “Our move i
nto the Campus for Future Living marks an exciting opportunity for the Trust and for the communities we serve.
“The Campus provides a modern, multi-agency environment that strengthens partnership working across health, housing and community services, while increasing the visibility and accessibility of mental health support.
“With several of our community mental health teams and Talking Therapies teams now based on site, working alongside partners under one roof will help us create smoother pathways, earlier support and more joined-up services for local people.
“This development strengthens our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and I’m grateful to everyone who has helped make it possible.”
Cllr William Gray, Portfolio Holder for Communities and Better Ageing at East Lindsey District Council, said: “I am absolutely delighted that the Talking and Therapies teams at NHS Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust are bringing their vital services to the Campus for Future Living.
“This will enhance the accessibility of key mental health and wellbeing services for residents of Mablethorpe and surrounding area, reducing their need to travel by bringing services direct to them.
“The Campus is all about bringing people and services together, creating new partnerships and opportunities. It is a real hub of activity and support with agencies and organisations all working together to enhance the health and wellbeing of residents living on the Lincolnshire coast.”
In addition to office space, the Campus also offers consultation rooms, training and meeting spaces, and the Wayfinder Café, which is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
