East Lindsey District Council

East Lindsey District Council (ELDC) is proud to be a key partner in bringing the Campus for Future Living to life in Mablethorpe.

As a primary funder, their investment of £8.6 million in government funding has been instrumental in ensuring the successful development of this transformative project.

Committed to driving positive change, they work to create thriving communities, support local businesses, and improve the lives of residents across the district.

The Campus for Future Living aligns perfectly with the council’s vision to tackle health inequalities, create new opportunities, and support economic growth in East Lindsey. By funding this innovative initiative, ELDC is helping to establish a hub for healthcare, training, and community support—one that will leave a lasting impact on Mablethorpe and beyond.

Beyond funding, ELDC continues to champion projects that enhance the local area, investing in skills, infrastructure, and regeneration. Their dedication to fostering strong, sustainable communities ensures that East Lindsey remains a great place to live, work, and visit.

The council is delighted to see the Campus take shape and looks forward to the positive changes it will bring to residents, businesses, and the wider region.

Connected Coast

Connected Coast is overseeing the multi-million-pound Towns Fund investment in Mablethorpe and Skegness.

In 2021, Mablethorpe secured £23.9M in Town Deal funding from the government to deliver an ambitious vision for a healthy, enterprising, resilient, balanced, and connected community. This funding is being invested in Mablethorpe through a number of projects that reflect this vision, including the Campus for Future Living which has been supported by £8.6M in Town Deal funding.

Other projects supported by Town Deal funding in Mablethorpe include the nearby Station Leisure and Learning Centre, and the Town Centre Transformation programme, bringing improvements to properties in the heart of Mablethorpe town centre. Other projects benefitting from the funding include the Seaview Colonnade in nearby Sutton-on-Sea, and the new visitor hub that is set to be constructed at National Trust Sandilands, in addition to other projects further along the coast at Skegness.

Connected Coast, which consists of board members from the public and private sector, is working to maximise the great potential of Mablethorpe and Skegness so that they can thrive as part of a Connected Coast. The Campus for Future Living is a vital part of this work, with the ambition for this space now brought to life.
