We’re incredibly proud to share a major milestone for the Campus for Future Living - our very first Impact Report is now live.
Covering April 2025 to March 2026, this report captures an exciting first year since opening our doors in June 2025 and highlights the real difference Campus is making across Mablethorpe and surrounding coastal communities.
If you’ve been part of our journey so far, whether as a visitor, partner, learner or supporter - this report is a celebration of everything we’ve achieved together.
A Vision Brought to Life
The Campus for Future Living was created to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing coastal communities; including health inequalities, social isolation, limited transport and reduced access to opportunity.
One year on, we’re proud to say that vision is becoming reality.
Campus has become far more than a building. It’s now a thriving hub for wellbeing, learning, research, and connection, bringing together services and support in one accessible and welcoming place.
A Year of Impact in Numbers
Our first year has been busy, inspiring and full of impact. Here are just a few highlights from the report:
£1.7 million+ in social value generated
Over 15,000 visits to the Wayfinder Café
3,800+ wellbeing interventions delivered
49 courses delivered, supporting hundreds of learners
281 community members registered
125 job applications supported, helping people take steps into employment
Behind each number is a real story - someone gaining confidence, building skills, improving their health, or reconnecting with their community.
A Place for People
From day one, Campus has been about people.
We’ve welcomed hundreds of visitors to events, supported individuals through wellbeing sessions, and created a safe, friendly space where people feel comfortable and supported.
At the heart of it all is the award-winning Wayfinder Café, which has quickly become a much-loved social hub, even taking home the Coastal Champion 2026 Best Breakfast Award.
But Campus is more than somewhere to visit - it’s somewhere people belong.
Shaped by Our Community
One of the things that makes Campus different is how much the community is involved.
We actively work with local people to design and improve what we offer, from shaping wellbeing activities to influencing learning programmes and even redesigning spaces like the café and info hub.
This approach means everything we do is relevant, inclusive and built around real local needs.
Driving Innovation and Research
Campus is also playing a key role on a much bigger stage.
In our first year, we hosted the launch of the Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH), the UK’s first institute dedicated to tackling rural and coastal health inequalities.
By bringing together researchers, health professionals and communities, we’re helping shape evidence-based solutions that can make a lasting difference not just locally, but nationally.
The Power of Partnership
None of this would be possible without collaboration.
Campus brings together partners from across health, education, community services and the voluntary sector, all working toward a shared goal of improving lives and creating opportunity.
This joined-up approach means people can access support, advice, learning and services all in one place, making it easier to get the help they need.
Looking Ahead: This Is Just the Beginning
While we’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved so far, this is only the start.
The Campus for Future Living will continue to grow, evolve and be shaped by the people who use it. Whether you’re looking to learn, connect, volunteer, partner or simply find support there’s a place for you here.
